Shane Principe is an M.Arch graduate from the University of Tennessee Knoxville’s (UTK) College of Architecture and Design. He earned his BFA in studio art from UTK where he concentrated in media arts. Over the course of his graduate career he focused on the implementation of computational design and digital fabrication into manufacturing and the construction process. He participated in UTK’s design build project entry for the 2019 Exhibit Columbus exhibition (The Filament Tower) and was a student worker in the UTK CoAD’s FabLab. Over this time, he contributed to a number of group art shows as both curatorial organizer and artist. Following undergrad he spent several years working in the skydiving industry as a freefall photographer and videographer across the Southeastern United States while continuing to build a body of work as a practitioner of visual and time-based arts.
